WE ARE WHAT WE LEARN

It was 10 years ago that we set out in the hamburger business, working in restaurants in the USA

Working there, travelling, trying things out and comparing, made us recognise what we did and didn’t like.
We always had a desire to create our own restaurant, a place that would transport you to the Soho of a large city, serving daring hamburgers with indie rock as background music.

Our hamburgers attempt to breathe life into the gourmet hamburger concept, filled with foie and stuffed with dried tomatoes….
We had a clear idea that we wished to offer something that you wouldn’t be able to find in any place, even something that you had never tried before. That attitude of wanting to innovate is what has always been the driving force behind ‘The Black Turtle’ menu and our hamburgers. Just being another hamburger place did not motivate us.

This is how The Black Turtle was born in February 2013 in our land, Valencia, becoming a place where not only hamburgers are eaten.

Is there something that sets us apart from the rest? That’s easy:

Product originality: A good example is that our #TowerBurger is the most sold hamburger in all our restaurants, thanks to our own unique concept recipe.

Elaboration – Method: Practically our entire menu is of our own elaboration, from the tender varieties, croquettes, the sauces, our chocolate cookie …

Quality-Price ratio: No deseamos ser una hamburguesería gourmet que sólo unos pocos pueden permitirse.

• The importance of complete experience: In our restaurants we take as much care with design and decor as we do with our menu, creating a compelling air of the old factories and industrial styles that are so typical of the large cities in the world.
